Co-directrice et co-productrice de la New York Theatrical Bellydance Conference, directrice World Citizen Dance et de la World Citizen Dance School, co-fondatrice de l’International Urban Bellydance Collective, Anasma «The Dancing Storyteller» est Danseuse Interprète, Master professeur en Fusions Orientales, Chorégraphe, Productrice et Chanteuse. Franco-Américaine, mi tunisienne, mi vietnamienne, actuellement basée à Paris, cette véritable Citoyenne du Monde est naturellement encline à mélanger différentes formes d’art pour exprimer qui elle est (Hip-hop, Danse Orientale, Yoga, Théâtre, Mime, Arts Martiaux, Salsa, Jazz, Modal Modern Underground …). Ses fusions Danse du Monde Théâtrale lui valent d’être reconnue par ses pairs comme une grande innovatrice. Pour Anasma, la danse est une expression de l’âme qui permet à chaque danseur de partager ses émotions les plus profondes avec le public et d’être dans le moment Présent.
Déjà vue sur les 5 continents et dans plus de 30 pays, Anasma enseigne des Master Class et se produit en Europe, en Amérique du Nord et du Sud et en Asie depuis 2006. Dès son jeune âge, elle intègre des compagnies de danse orientale et salsa. En 2006, elle est recrutée par Bellyqueen à New York, qu’elle quitte en 2009 pour se focaliser sur ses propres projets. En 2008 elle fonde avec Ranya Renee le Theatrical Bellydance Project. Elle apparait sur de nombreux DVDs, et CDs, dans les festivals de danse, week-end intensifs. En 2010, elle crée World Citizen Dance. En 2011, elle reçoit le prix de la “Performance soliste la plus créative” de la Society of Unique Arts. En 2012, elle s’associe avec Linda Faoro’s Travelling Dance School. Par ailleurs, elle écrit, interprète, son premier CD “Chance is Back” réalisé par Blastermind et produit le premier clip video Ocean Elevation. En 2013, elle sort son album. Début 2014, Anasma présente sa première production de 60 minutes: “1984…2014″. Actuellement, elle apparait sur scène en solo, auprès de Tjarda Van Straten (Hollande), Zoe Anwar (Espagne), Linda Faoro (France), et Compagnia Degli Gnomi (Italie).

Co-founder and co-director of the New York Theatrical Bellydance Conference, director of World Citizen Dance Inc and World Citizen Dance School, co-founder of the International Urban Bellydance Collective, Anasma is a performance arts dancer, Oriental Fusion master instructor, choreographer, singer, song writer, and producer. Drawing from her cross-training in academic and ethnic dances, acting, yoga, martial arts…, Anasma focuses on making dance meaningful and touching through storytelling, character development, truthful emotions and aesthetic powerful movement. She is recognized by her peers for her wild creativity, great expressiveness, constant risk taking and pushing the envelope.
Seen in five continents and more than 30 countries, featured in many performance DVDs, instructional DVDs and albums, Anasma currently tours Europe, North and South America and Asia to teach and perform in dance festivals, intensives and prestigious theaters. Compagnie de danse orientale, Tribale et Fusion, The Smoky Eyes puise son inspiration dans différentes techniques de danses traditionnelle, indienne, hip hop, et flamenco, entre autres. Composée de quatre danseuses aux parcours très différents (modern jazz, danse classique, cirque, hip hop, danse indienne), la compagnie décide, en juin 2009, de passer de la scène à la rue, The Smoky Eyes devenant ainsi des D.T.T. (Danseuses Tout Terrain), qui touchent tous les publics et refusent toute forme d’exclusion. Elles se sont fait remarquées dans de nombreux festival en Europe et ont été nominées à plusieurs reprises, en solo et en groupe, notamment au festival Bellydancer of the World, en 2011, 2012 et 2013. La compagnie a également remporté le premier prix au concours du festival Jawhara en 2013 et a été élue ”Black Forest Tribal Queens” en 2013 à Offenburg en Allemagne.

Registration and workshop details here Diabolik combos, Sunday@ 1.15 pmThe Smokey Eyes are an Oriental, Tribal and Fusion dance company, which take their inspiration in various dance style and techniques such as traditional dances, indian dance, hip hop and flamenco, amongst others. Coming from very different horizons (modern jazz, classical dance, circus, hip hop, indian dance), the four members of The Smokey Eyes decided in june 2009, to hop from the world of stage performance to the freer world of street performance. Doing so, they became ATD (All Terrain Dancers) touching all public and refusing all form of exclusion in their art. European born, The Somkey Eyes have distinguished themselves in several festivals across the continent. They were nominated several times, for solo and group performances, in many events including Bellydancer of the World (2011, 2012 and 2013). In 2013, the Smokey Eyes ladies won first prize in Jawhara festival and were elected “Black Forest Tribal Queens” in Offenburg, Germany.
